History
Our history begins by the sea, in the heart of Dalmatia, where we grew up on the taste of fresh fish, prosciutto, homemade cheese and meat baked under the peka. We brought these traditions and love for honest food with us to Prague. By establishing Konoba by Maare, we wanted to offer an authentic experience where family heritage, home recipes and warm hospitality are intertwined. Every dish you taste here is based on the stories we have lived since childhood — and we are happy to share them with you today.

Our menu is based on: freshness, tradition and simplicity
We focus on simplicity, which allows the most important things to stand out — quality ingredients and honest preparation. Fresh fish, meat, olive oil, homemade pastries and vegetables form the basis of every meal. We draw inspiration from Dalmatian cuisine, where less is more and where each course is prepared with respect for recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation.
